NASHVILLE, TN—November 26, 2008—The Guidry Group’s “Boot Scootin’ To The NFR In Las Vegas”
online promotion with country stars Cody McCarver (solo artist and current member of Confederate
Railroad) and Amanda Henkel (country music newcomer and international Hawaiian Tropic supermodel)
is the most successful online promotion ever hosted by Goldbucklenetwork.com, according to executives
with the online western property. The cross-collateral promotion, a “win-win” for all parties involved,
includes a host of sponsors’ and product giveaways, airline tickets, NFR tickets, and arguably the most
valuable element, consumer impressions for those hosting the promotion on their websites, the sponsors
supporting the promotion, and the recording artists involved. In addition to Goldbucklenetwork.com, a host
of other outlets carried the promotion online, among them Yallwire.com, DigitalRodeo.com, Country
Weekly magazine, major and secondary market country radio stations, artist websites and Myspace sites,
and all sponsors.

promotion we’ve hosted previously. Our Randy Travis promotion set the bar for impressions and this one

McCarver and Henkel are scheduled to kick off “The Mirage Presents Rodeo Vegas”
entertainment spectacular at The Mirage Hotel and Casino, December 4-13. The Mirage will broadcast a
live feed of the NFR (National Finals Rodeo) nightly events in the “Race and Sports Book” area, followed
by live entertainment from McCarver, Henkel, Derryl Perry, Jason Meadows, Gary Leffew’s Mechanical
Bull, Susie Dobbs, Katie Armiger, and members of George Strait’s Ace In The Hole Band. There is no
cover charge. All events are presented courtesy of The Mirage Hotel and Casino. The “Boot Scootin’ To
The NFR In Las Vegas” promotion was designed to support The Mirage “Rodeo Vegas” shows booked by
The Guidry Group.

Gold Buckle Network is an online television network, music source and department store for
everything “western.” Among the network’s offerings are television-quality country music videos and
western sports, documentaries, classic movies and television shows.

Henkel’s self-titled, five-song EP (PLC/Desire Street) is a showcase of vibrant and compelling
songs, particularly the upcoming single, “A Million And One.” Her performance puts her viability as an
artist and her ability to compete squarely in the forefront. As a youngster in Slidell, Louisiana, she
dreamed of a music career and sang in a country band with her sister Pamela on the Louisiana fair circuit,
and made it on the popular Louisiana Music Cavalcade. She was the tomboy no one expected to go into
show business, but her music career took a detour when she rose as an international supermodel, and
ultimately the face for Hawaiian Tropic around the world. Her new single is scheduled for release in 2009.
McCarver’s current solo single, “Look What You’ve Done” was released November 10. In a
market that has become increasingly competitive for smaller and truly independent labels, McCarver
turned heads when he recently spent three weeks at No. 18 on Music Row’s chart with his remake of the
Rod Stewart-penned pop mega-hit “Tonight’s The Night.” His previous solo singles include “Red Flag” and
“Through God’s Eyes,” songs that garnered him two awards, Music Row’s Independent Artist award and
Music Row’s Independent Breakout Artist Of The Year award. The “Red Flag” video reached No. 1 on
CMT Pure’s “Pure 12-Pack” countdown.
